AMD Thuban Six-Core Phenom II Processors
Rumors are circulating that suggest that we may soon see the release of three to six new-core AMD processors such hex-core is apparently codenamed Thuban. The three new processors are expected to arrive April 26 at that time that we should see the release of the X6 AMD Phenom II 1035T, 1055T and 1075T, which are all intended for desktop computers.

We believe that these Thuban will be compatible with AM3, AM2 and AM2 + sockets, however, most boards will require an updated BIOS, board manufacturers will decide to issue updates to the BIOS of old planks, Chances are they simply promote the purchase of a new motherboard.
